Kayaking adventure in the Swedish archipelago

min. 6, max. 10 (+2 St. Detlef St. + Werner G. of www.kanukarte.de , Detlef possibly takes a trailer with 8-10 kayaks coming up from southern Germany, seats and transport might be available). First registrations are already done.

Price:
€ 325 p.P. / Course incl. VAT (for a binding registration 30% of the sum has to be paid, no-shows will not be refunded).

Process / performance of the corse:
"Expedition" and "Survival Level" (see Wiki for English translation) literally "Home Game Lavel"(read more on my homepage www.detlev-henschel.com), but as the sea, the Baltic Sea, can not be controlled, E and S-level must be expected, - therefore, the kayak and the equipment has to be managed on a skilled level – easy acclimatisation/training for one or two days is guaranteed here. (A confirmed registration is only possible after April 1^st, 2012, I can offer assistance with uncertainties related equipment after confirmed registry, etc. We are not suicidal, OK! Fun and adventure, is our motto. The weakest (strength / spirit), seaworthiness, etc. makes the pace due to wind conditions.

I act as a guide (Team Leader) and "Captain" because we are paddling as a team! Identifying, collecting, storing, preparing and eating of wild plants etc. is taught and are part of the trip, short hikes into the wilderness, and everything else on a kayak expedition and Outdoors Survival, too (which take place incidentally in any weather). The most important behaviour in the natural habitat in particular is taught, too also the basics of biotopes and Asian philosophy of nature, Henschel's or Kant's approaches if desired.

Meeting point:
At a highway rest stop on Autobahn BAB 1 or 7, as we drive in convoy. I have a VW bus and 3 seats left. Fuel/bridge to be shared. Driving time from Bremen 900 km – 10-12 hrs.

Bring:
Cooking utensils: (Stoves, cookware, cutlery, pocket knives, no Rambo knives, samurai swords OK), fishing gear, clothes to feel comfortable while hiking in the habitat, daypack to carry needed things, change clothes, overnight utensils. Complete sea kayak equipment (no life vest, no participation!), including food and camping gear for a 5-star week to be outdoors. I can give help with right equipment after confirmed registration.

As a tip I can recommend my book "Essbare Wildbeeren und Wildpflanzen" Kosmos at Amazon etc. (German, Czech, Polish, French), this book too is soon (April 2012) available for download as an eBook "Frissss or Schtirb - Edible wild plants for the outdoor kitchen" in German only so at any online shop.
